Pursuant to Resolution no. 360 of 2009, issued on July 1, 2009, the period by which trademark applicants are required to pay the publication and registration fees was shortened from 60 days to 30 days, calculated as follows:
– Publication fees: calculated from the date the Trademark Office issues its decision of acceptance.
– Registration fees: calculated from the end of the 30-day opposition period.
The Resolution is deemed effective in the country as of its date of issuance.
