REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicant details: Name, nationality, and address of the applicant.
  • Copy of the applicant’s commercial registration, or ID/passport (for individuals).
  • Designer details: Name, nationality, address, and identification documents of the designer.
  • Power of Attorney (POA): A legalized POA is required for all procedures, with additional legalization by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Representation sheets (drawings/figures): Clear images illustrating all views of the design (up to 100 figures per class).
  • Description: A brief description, including the title and class of the design in accordance with the Locarno Classification.
  • Priority details: If priority is claimed, the priority document must be submitted; applications must be filed within 6 months from the priority date.
  • Arabic translation: Required for all documents submitted in a language other than Arabic.
