The General Availability phase for Arabic domain name registrations has begun in the UAE on November 13, 2011. It is the fourth phase of the registration process and it follows the Landrush phase during which auctioning may be possible in the event that more than one applicant applied for the same domain name.
It is worth noting here that the General Availability phase includes all the domain names that were not requested in previous phases. This phase will be open for the public on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration is made through registrars accredited by the Domain Administration.
