The Tunisian Government has recently approved the accession of Tunisia to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement for the International Registration of Industrial Designs (Resolution no.77, dated August 11, 2011) and the Madrid Protocol for the International Registration of Trademarks (Resolution no. 78, dated August 11, 2011). However, the Government has not yet submitted the instruments of accession to the WIPO. It is not known when Tunisia will accede to these agreements and this is not expected at any time soon.
