Bahrain: Authorities on the Lookout

The Bahraini Customs Authorities seized a significant volume of counterfeits with an estimated market value of USD 300 000. The confiscated goods included a range of items (drugs, cosmetics, cigarettes and car brakes) which undoubtedly threaten the safety of the consumers. This measure comes in the scope of the government’s growing efforts to protect intellectual property rights in the country.
