Iran has recently introduced a new trademark, patent, and industrial design draft law which was forwarded to the competent authorities for further review and approval. The new law is expected to introduce provisions on the registration and maintenance of designs for the first time in the country. We will be commenting on this in future issues of the Saba Bulletin.
