The Investment and Trade Court in Qatar has signed a cooperation agreement with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center. The agreement was concluded by Court President Judge Khalid bin Ali Al Obaidli and WIPO Director Ignacio De Castro Llamas, in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

The initiative aims to strengthen judicial capacity in handling intellectual property disputes, enhance alignment with international best practices, and reinforce Qatar’s position as a reliable venue for resolving commercial and investment cases. The cooperation is expected to improve the local investment climate and further support the protection of intellectual property rights in the country.
