Oman: Customs Authorities Launch Intellectual Property Recordal System

Oman has introduced a customs recordal system, enabling rights holders to record their intellectual property rights directly with the Omani customs authorities. The development strengthens border enforcement in the Sultanate and gives brand owners a proactive mechanism to intercept counterfeit and infringing goods before they are released into commerce.
