Business Development Assistant – Patents – Head Office

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Performs market/database research on patent filings and filing behaviors
  • Analyzes and prepares reports in support of business development activities
  • Prepares business development strategies tailored to the targeted customer
  • Coordinates international conferences with target client visits for potential business opportunities
  • Initiates contact with potential clients by providing them with analysis of the region
  • Stays up to date on laws, regulations and day-to-day patent operations across the region and beyond

Skills / Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business or other fields
  • 3+ years of experience in Marketing/Sales with an emphasis on market research analysis
  • Good command of English, Arabic (with French as a major added value); additional languages are a plus
  • Research & analytical skills (expert in generating tables, graphs, charts, etc.)
  • Communication and Reporting skills (oral and written reporting)
  • Organizational skills
