Filing Requirements
1. Power of attorney, notarized.
2. Copy of PCT Request.
3. Copy of International Publication.
4. Copy of International Search Report.
5. Copy of International Preliminary Examination Report (if available).
All the above documents may be submitted within 2 months from filing date.
Time Limits
Under PCT Chapter I: 31 months from the priority date
Under PCT Chapter II: 31 months from the priority date
Annuities
The 1st and 2nd patent annuities are payable at the time of filing. The remaining annuities are payable annually on the anniversary of the international filing date.
Protection Term
The term of protection is 15 years from the international filing date.
