  GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL


The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), also known as the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, was established on May 25, 1981. The GCC comprises six member states: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Its main aim is to promote regional cooperation in economic, social, political, and military affairs
